Location Options

When you envision your session, what type of location style are you drawn to?  Maybe you already have a location in mind and know of the perfect place.  If so, that's wonderful, because I love trying new spots and getting a look that fits your style!  If you don't have a location in mind, that's ok too.  Let's work together to determine what interests you.  It's easiest for me to think of locations in the following categories.

Country Setting

A rural setting that might include an old barn, rugged fencing, long gravel drive, old buildings, corn cribs, fields or a farm.

Natural Setting

Woods, tall grassy fields, old logs, or maybe just a backyard!

Water Setting

A water setting is a beautiful look, especially for summer! We can use the River Wandle as a back drop or go to other local lakes, dock at a pond or even throw rocks in a creek!

Urban Setting

Brick buildings, alley ways, chain link fencing, colorful doors, textured walls, stylish store fronts, staircases.  It can be grungy or it can be classy.  I've used Areas such as Nonsuch Park, areas along the River Thames, Morden, Hampton Court and lots of small, unique areas.  Each can give a different feel to the urban style.

I most prefer this look for senior sessions, but it is also a nice look for family sessions in off seasons when things aren't as pretty yet outside.  Or it's just a nice change of pace if you have already done several sessions with the other looks mentioned.

Specific Themed

Orchards, Lavender, Christmas tree farms, campsites, fairs or carnivals, beach

My studio is located in North Cheam, Sutton. Mainly geared toward newborns, as well as milestone sessions for babies first year when weather does not allow for outside sessions.  My studio is a smaller format, just perfect for these types of sessions.  It is not large enough for family sessions or older children.
